PENTECOSTAL HOUSE OF PRAISE
Y CASA PENTECOSTAL DE ALABANZA
Orlando, Florida
About US
Pentecostal House of Praise is a multi-cultural church that is newly established in the Orange County, Florida.  It is Apostolic in doctrine and Pentecostal in experience, believing in joyful praise, and worship that includes clapping of hands, raising of hands, dancing before God and the exuberant worship that lifts songs of praise and rejoicing to God.  All are welcome, but the Word of God will be preached without compromise.
Our Statement of Faith
About God:  We believe that there is One God (Deuteronomy 6:4) the father, who is revealed as “father in creation, son in redemption, and holy spirit in regeneration.”  We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh as the son of God (I Timothy 3:16).  We believe that the Holy Spirit is “Christ in you the hope of Glory”.  Rather than defining God as a trinity existing in three persons, we believe that God exist in Jesus Christ, “the fullness of the Godhead bodily”.  We believe that no other God exist, nor should be worshipped, or recognized.
The Name of Jesus:  We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God in humanity and God (the father) in divinity.  He is the only Savior and “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).  Not only do we use the wonderful name of Jesus in prayer, in casting out demons, in healing the sick, and in gathering together, but we believe that the name of Jesus is the only name to be used in water baptism (Acts 2:38, 8:12-16, 10:44-48, and Acts 19: 1-6). It is through the Name of Jesus Christ we can find forgiveness of sins (Acts 10:43).
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:  We believe that just as the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) was given on the day of Pentecost as a promised gift that makes us Sons of God, we believe the Holy Spirit is given in like manner today.  The Pentecostal experience of receiving the Holy Spirit came with the evidence of “speaking in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance” (Acts 2).  This same Holy Spirit baptism for the church still exist and men, women, and children are receiving the same experience today as it was received on the Day of Pentecost (See Acts 10: 44-48).
The Word of God:  We believe that the Word of God is divinely inspired and reveals all truth necessary for salvation and for righteous living.  It is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and instruction in righteousness.  It provides us with an understanding of our existence, identity, and destiny. We believe the Word of God is not specific to any one culture but belongs to all cultures and therefore is not subject to interpretation based on culture or rationalization.  “God’s Word is forever established in Heaven” and reveals a “heavenly kingdom” that is “in the world but not of the world”.
The Church: Is the body of Christ joined together in community and relationship by One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God, and One Spirit (Ephesians 4).  It is not a denomination that is defined by an organizational name, but it does have an identity called the church.  While the name on the door does not matter, the doctrine in the pulpit and the experience in the pew matter greatly and both doctrine and experience define the True Church of Jesus Christ.  There must be doctrine (teaching) contrary to those who believe that non-denominationalism means “without doctrine”.  It must also have loving relationship with God and with one another.  The church is a light to the world as the ambassadors of Jesus Christ through his gospel.
